About the wine
Ribolla Gialla Orange is a skin-contact white wine made on the hills of Oslavia, in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Here, skin maceration is not a trend but a tradition that lets Ribolla Gialla express structure, complexity and a strong sense of place.
What is an orange wine?
An orange wine is a wine made from white grapes fermented in contact with their skins.
With skin-contact Ribolla Gialla, this process:
- adds structure to the wine
- enriches the aromatic profile
- gives gentle tannins and longevity
It is a white wine that behaves much like a red.

Winemaking
The Ribolla Gialla grapes are picked by hand and fermented with skin maceration. Maceration extracts phenolic, mineral and aromatic compounds, giving an authentic orange wine, with nothing forced.
