About the wine

Merlot Fiegl is made from selected Merlot grapes grown in Collio. A harmonious, approachable red with fruity notes and a balanced structure, ideal as a quality everyday wine.

Winemaking and ageing

The grapes are picked by hand and vinified as a red wine. It is aged in stainless steel with a short spell in wood to keep its freshness, clean aromas and easy drinkability.

Tasting notes

Colour
Deep, bright ruby red.

Nose
Hints of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, with light herbaceous notes.

Palate
Soft, balanced and rounded, with gentle tannins and a pleasant, clean finish.
