The award reflects the quality and consistent style of Friulano Fiegl over the years.
Friulano is one of the most representative wines of Collio and one of the grapes that best express the bond between land and tradition.
It is elegant, balanced and surprisingly versatile with food, yet often underrated or little known.
In this guide we explain what Collio Friulano is, what it tastes like and when to choose it.
About the wine
Friulano Fiegl is made from Friulano grapes grown in Collio. It is a dry, clean-lined white wine with balance, freshness and the typical savoury note that makes it immediately enjoyable.
Winemaking
The grapes are picked by hand and vinified in stainless steel, with temperature-controlled fermentation. This preserves the grape’s aromatic purity and keeps the wine fresh, clean and true to the traditional Friulano style.
