About the wine
Cabernet Franc Fiegl – Venezia Giulia IGT is made from Cabernet Franc grapes grown in vineyards in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
An elegant, generous red with intense aromas and a balanced structure, ideal with full-flavoured dishes.
Cabernet Franc has long been grown in Friuli, where the climate lets it express fresh aromas and good aromatic complexity.
Winemaking and ageing
After the harvest the grapes undergo about twelve days of skin maceration, to extract colour and aroma from the fruit.
The wine then matures in barriques and stainless steel, completing its ageing before bottling.
This brings balance between structure, aromatic complexity and freshness.
